POSITION: Project Coordinator - CONTRACT
LOCATION: Edmonton, AB (home office based)
STATUS: 8 month contract
START DATE: Immediate
REPORTING TO: Account Manager

The main purpose of this position is to contribute to the growth and success of the assigned programs(s) within the Experiential Division. The Project Coordinator will support the account team remotely with the administration and execution of various events in Edmonton - including but not limited to, coordinating program logistics, being a direct source of support in the organization of suppliers and vendors, managing and motivating a team of field representatives to ensure all targets are being met and acting as a liaison between the field and account teams – including Account Supervisors, Account Managers, Client Service Managers and Client Service Directors.

▪ Assist with project management by consistently demonstrating the ability to successfully communicate and use problem solving skills when challenges arise
▪ Support in the management of assigned account financials. Including but not limited to building budgets, tracking expenses, cost benefit analysis and proactively searching for efficiencies
▪ Effectively own client relationships, ensuring all feedback is being clearly articulated for the client and expectations are being met or exceeded
▪ Manage premium requests including sourcing, presentation, payment and delivery logistics
▪ Network and develop relationships as well as trust among internal and external clients
▪ When required, and in accordance to the HR/Recruitment policies & procedures, assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training of Brand Ambassadors nationally – including but not limited to: resume screening and conducting interviews;
▪ Manage teams of program Brand Ambassadors and commit to being on-site, as required
▪ Provide continued supervision and training while running a successful program execution
▪ Proactively manage the planning, development and execution of programs while ensuring all targets are being met
▪ Coordinate program logistics- including but not limited to: scheduling; storage; shipping, travel; payroll, expenses, inventory etc.
▪ Collect data from activations and prepare client facing analysis reports
▪ Attend and participate in all required team meetings, including brainstorming sessions and actively provide creative ideas and feedback
▪ Enthusiastically embrace coaching and mentoring from members of the account team
▪ In accordance to the Finance/Payroll policies & procedures, responsible for completing, and submitting the payroll and expenses for Brand Ambassadors on a timely basis;
▪ Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels of the Company to consistently contribute to a positive work environment and culture

▪ Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business/Commerce or Marketing;
▪ 1 - 2 years’ direct work experience working on experiential marketing programs/events;
▪ Flexible work schedule, with the willingness to work occasional weekends and long hours at certain times of the year
▪ Commitment to be on-site for every Edmonton Oilers home game at Rogers Arena for the 2017-18 season;
▪ Able to work remotely with full accessibility to the Toronto team via email and smartphone
▪ Valid driver’s license and own transportation
