POSITION:                           PRODUCTION MANAGER  - CONTRACT           
STATUS:                              6 month contract                               
DIVISION:                            Creative Studio
REPORTING TO:                  Production Director            
LOCATION:                          Toronto, ON
 
OVERVIEW:
 
The Production Manager role has 3 core functions: (1) manage the planning, execution, production, delivery and reconciliation of all production components; (2) source, estimate, order, track, monitor and control all production prices, cost savings and production status, ensuring compliance with client objectives; AND (3) manage current relationship with existing and new external suppliers.  
 
WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE: 
  • An experienced Print Production professional with 5-7 years’ direct work in the areas of Procurement, Creative Print & Gear/Asset Production;
  • Direct work experience within the experiential marketing industry on a national basis;
  • An expert in the areas of Operations, Supplier/Client relationships, people and financials;
  • Experienced in Print Production Management (Min 5 years and Agency or supplier side preferred)
  • Solid understanding of logo application, usage standards and compliance
  • An effective and successful negotiator
  • Strong project management, communication, relationship building, leadership and time management skills
  • Works well under tight timelines
  • The ultimate team player who can also work efficiently independently
  • Awesome multi-tasker
  • Ability to contribute to the creative efforts & “out of box thinking”
 
YOUR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE INCLUDES: 
  • High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
